First of all, after supporting branding feature, 2009 and corporate2 components have became out of use, all distribution related contents will have been provided from branding components. There is only turkish translation f?le currently, If you want to help brading component localizat?on, I should add your locale code to subversion. Yal? project includes backend displayed texts, some distribution releated texts like slidehows and screens' title and help content . Although not exactly like that. Screens' title and help contents and slideshows descriptions are splitted and moves into release.xml.in [1] . As you see, they are all the same but screens title are defined between <_title> tags, help contents between <_help> tags, slideshow' description <_description> tags. Nope, they are not, specifically for 2009. Corporate2 branch for YALI translations were closed ~5 months ago cause i've been informed that YALI translations will be overhauled and will be written from scratch. There is no plan for 2009.3, thus we don't need YALI->2009 translations. If there will be any plan for 2009.3, your translations won't be lost. We have seperated original YALI strings and distro-dependant (Corporate2, 2009, 2011 and so on) strings. YALI now looks for 2 catalogs, yali and yali-branding-pardus po files. In svn i had the chance to see the date of the language file, however i cannot see it on the webpage. I thought maybe comparing the "old original" and the "current original" versions of the po-file on the website could give information if something was changed. However this seems impractical !! In a test i compared md5 and saw a difference. Whe i compare using a diff-tool i can also see a difference (this explains different md5) however the main difference seems to be changed linebreaks and spaces, which would be "invisible" to the application !! So my question remains: Is there a practical way to confirm (or not) changes in the original po-file ? (I don't want to "undo" some new changes a developer might have made) I know i could try the locking function, however if there is a simpler way ? Or is it irrelevant because of some automatic process of the transifex system ?
